Welcome to The Queen Anne Royal Free C.E First School

In our Christian community, and with the Fruit of the Spirit in our hearts, we all Enjoy, Include and Achieve.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23

'Pupils at Queen Anne’s learn in a very nurturing environment. Their happiness and welfare are always at the top of the school’s agenda' The Queen Anne Ofsted Report 2019

'With the 'fruit of the spirit' foremost in their thinking, the community of The Queen Anne First School enjoy, include, and achieve together. It is a place where all can flourish.' The Queen Anne SIAMS Report 2023

We are a small family friendly Church of England school. We pride ourselves on the care and education we offer our pupils. In our school, everyone is a learner, by this we mean that children, staff, parents and Governors work together to ensure that every child is included, achieves in all aspects and enjoys learning.

I regard it as both a privilege and a pleasure to lead such a committed team of colleagues and Governors, work with highly motivated and well-behaved pupils and have an active and supportive parent body.

I know how daunting starting school can be for both the children and parents. The caring approach of The Queen Anne helps children and parents to become part of the whole school community.

The very best way to find out if our school is just right for your child is for you to visit and see our school in action. We offer a number of parent tours, you will find a list of current dates in our Parent Section under Parent Tours. Please contact the school office if you would like to book a tour.

I look forward to welcoming you to The Queen Anne in the future,

Mrs Judith Street Head Teacher
